REGISTER ON HANDSHAKE

Join us for this exciting in-person career fair that brings together arts, business, computer science, engineering, humanities, and the sciences all in one event. Employers from all industries will be looking to hire interns and full-time employees from all majors and disciplines.

This is a large-scale free-flowing "traditional" career fair.

This fair is located in the Wiegand Gym and will be split into two sessions:

• Session 1: Undergraduate Students 10 am - 12 pm *Entry ends at 11:30 am

• Session 2: Graduate Students 1 pm - 5 pm *Entry ends at 4:30 pm

*Students of all class levels can attend either session if their academic schedules conflict with the event timeline

Wiegand Gym is located on the first floor of the Cohon Center near the Equipment Desk.

Entry into the fair will end 30 minutes before the end time of the fair.

Please visit the coat check open from 9:40 until 5:15, before entering the fair located in the Conan Room on the first floor of the University Center! No coats or backpacks will be permitted at the fair.

This industry-inclusive career fair will attract employers from all industries. Employers who are looking to fill numerous and varied roles are invited to join. Students of all different backgrounds and skill sets such as business, life sciences, tech, engineering, social sciences, design, and more are invited to attend.

This event will allow employers to safely meet with students in a pre-scheduled 1:1 format.

Spark: Startups and Emerging Companies is an innovative virtual career event designed to provide a platform for small business and early stage start-ups to engage Carnegie Mellon University students and alumni. Companies will be afforded the opportunity to network with, and recruit our students and alumni, as well as share information about their company story, mission, and/or products with all in attendance. Spark is presented in collaboration with CMU’s Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship.

The TOC offers a great virtual opportunity for companies and potential employees to make connections for both full-time and summer employment.

The CAOC is focused on connecting employers with students interested in creative industries from the College of Fine Arts and beyond through opportunities including the School of Architecture’s Interchange Virtual Open Studio.

Employers may conduct one-on-one and small group sessions through Handshake during the virtual Creative Arts Opportunities Conference (CAOC) Career Fair on Thursday, 18 February 2021 from 2:30-6:00pm ET. Students may sign up for sessions on Handshake.

Interchange is the SoA’s annual recruiting event for undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students. This year’s event is being held as a virtual open studio. Employers will reach out to students to schedule conversations and interviews during Interchange. All initial employer interfacing will take place on the Interchange website.

Employers may also conduct one-on-one and small group sessions through Handshake during the virtual Creative Arts Opportunities Conference (CAOC) Career Fair on Thursday, 18 February 2021 from 2:30-6:00pm ET. Students may sign up for sessions on Handshake.

The School of Architecture hosts a Networking Reception on Thursday 20 February following the Creative Arts Opportunities Conference (CAOC) Career Fair and Interchange. Students and employers can meet and connect during the reception, which takes place from 6:30-8:30pm in the College of Fine Arts building, room 214.
