The EcoDistricts Research Forum is a half-day regional forum to discuss embedded research and the power of academia-community relationships. The Forum takes place on Sunday 03 November from 11:00am-5:00pm at Chatham's Eden Hall campus in Gibsonia, PA. The Forum is associated with the district-scale sustainability conference, the EcoDistricts National Summit.
Join community members, students, and academic professionals to discuss collaboration for equitable and sustainable communities in the Pittsburgh region. The Forum includes tours of Eden Hall's living-learning campus, panels on embedded research from the university and community perspectives, and a cooperative working session focused on developing a shared agenda for the region.
Registration for the EcoDistricts Summit is not required to attend the Research Forum. The $25 registration fee includes lunch and round-trip transportation from downtown Pittsburgh. Register for the event at this link and learn more about the event on Facebook.
The event is co-hosted by The University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, Chatham University, Duquesne University, Penn State, evolveEA, and Mithun.
