2019 Guide to School of Architecture Events During Spring Carnival & Reunion Weekend

The School of Architecture is excited to welcome alumni, friends, and family back to campus for Spring Carnival & Reunion Weekend April 11-13, 2019. In addition to over 100 campus-wide activities, the SoA will host several events celebrating our community. We invite you to join us and reconnect with your former classmates and faculty.

Saturday, 13 April 2019

SoA Post-Buggy Open House | 11:00am-1:00pm
College of Fine Arts Building, Room 202

Join us after the buggy races for our annual Post-Buggy Open House. Catch up with former classmates and professors, take a look at current student work, and refuel before heading back to the Midway. Light refreshments will be served. All School of Architecture alumni, faculty, and staff and their families are invited to attend.

CMU Class Reunion Lunch | 12:00-2:00pm
Tent on the Cut

The CMU Class Reunion Lunch hosted by Alumni Affairs takes place on the Cut. Register via Alumni Affairs.

SoA Facility Tours | 2:00-3:30pm
Margaret Morrison Carnegie Hall, Room 307

Attendees of the SoA alumni reunions for the classes of 1969, 1999, and 2004 are invited to tour our spaces. Meet in MMCH 307 to join. Multiple tours will be occurring simultaneously in the interest of keeping tour group sizes manageable.

Retirement Celebration for Professors Ömer Akin & Volker Hartkopf | 4:00-6:00pm

Join us for a retirement celebration as we honor the achievements of SoA Professors Ömer Akin and Volker Hartkopf and congratulate them for their years of service to the school.
