DesignIntelligence (DI) is a research firm that provides an annual report rating college architecture programs. For over 20 years, DI has conducted their annual survey of hiring professionals, current students, and recent graduates to identify which schools are best preparing students for professional practice and which are most admired.

We ask that you take 15 minutes to share your perspectives by participating in this year’s surveys. The deadline has been extended to Friday, 06 August 2021. Responses are anonymous and confidential. The results of the surveys will be published on the DesignIntelligence website in Fall 2021.

Thanks to the responses from students, alumni, and professionals in 2019, the most recent year that the survey was conducted, Carnegie Mellon School of Architecture’s Bachelor of Architecture program was ranked #11 overall and placed top-ten in 9 of 12 focus areas.

PROFESSIONALS SURVEY
All alumni and firms responsible for hiring or supervising architecture employees are invited to complete this survey. If you don't hold such a position, please consider forwarding this survey to a colleague in that role. Survey responses will remain confidential.

STUDENTS & RECENT GRADUATES SURVEY

This survey should be completed by current architecture students, as well as architecture alumni who have graduated within the past three years. Survey responses will remain confidential.

If you have questions or comments about the surveys, please contact Mary Pereboom, Principal Research & Administration at DesignIntelligence. Past survey results and methodologies can be found on the DesignIntelligence website.

Thanks to our students, alumni, and professional colleagues for taking the time to support the Carnegie Mellon School of Architecture by participating in these surveys.
