School of Architecture Hosts Graduate Program Admission Open House on Thursday 17 November

The Carnegie Mellon University School of Architecture (SoA) invites prospective students interested in admission to our Graduate Program to attend hybrid Open House offerings on Thursday, 17 November 2022. This is a great opportunity to learn more about your graduate program, speak with faculty and students in your program(s) of interest, and ask questions about admission.

While the Open House session will be offered on Zoom beginning at 8:00pm ET, we invite you to visit our campus during the day to engage with our community and attend the Public Programs lecture with Daniel Libeskind. More details below.

On-Campus Open House Offerings
In Person | Cmu School of Architecture

For prospective students who are able to travel to the Carnegie Mellon University campus in Pittsburgh, we are offering an afternoon of in-person opportunities to experience the SoA.

If you plan to attend the in-person offerings in our School, please register for the virtual session on Zoom and complete our Google form to indicate your participation in the following in-person options:

  • 12:00pm-1:00pm: Lunch

  • 12:30pm-4:30pm: Attend Graduate Program Studios and Courses 

  • 3:30pm-4:30pm: School of Architecture Tour

  • 4:30pm-5:00pm: Coffee with Graduate Students

Public Program: Daniel Libeskind Lecture
In Person | McConomy Auditorium, Cohen University Center

We also extend a special invitation for visitors to join us for our special Public Program lecture featuring Daniel Libeskind, Founder of Studio Libeskind.

  • 5:00pm-6:00pm: Book Signing and Reception

  • 6:00pm: Public Lecture: Daniel Libeskind

Covid Policy for In-Person Events: We expect everyone who attends events on-campus to adhere to CMU’s current COVID mitigation policies, including CMU’s Visitor Protocol and CMU's Travel Protocols. Per CDC recommendation, we expect attendees to follow these guidelines regardless of vaccination status.
