Professor Khee Poh Lam, Research Associate Omer Karaguzel, and PhD students Weili Xu and Adrian Chong, along with their partners from DesignBuilder, showed the energy-modeling world a thing or two with an Innovative Workflow Award in this year's ASHRAE LowDown Showdown. The LowDown Showdown Modeling Challenge, sponsored by the Department of Energy and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, is a competition among interdisciplinary teams to model a net-zero-or-below building. With Professor Lam as team architect, Team DesignBuilder swept the Innovative Workflow category.
