UDBS's NavADAPT LAB
SoA's Urban Design Build Studio (UDBS) won two of fourteen awards in the recent Design Pittsburgh competition hosted by the American Institute of Architecture (AIA)'s Pittsburgh chapter—and SoA faculty and alumni joined them as honorees, as well. UDBS's NavADAPT LAB, a laboratory for development of kitchens designed especially for disabled veterans, received the competition's Design + Innovation Award of Excellence, while UDBS's Floriated Interpretation retail space received an Architecture Certificate of Merit.
