ABOUT US

The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is an independent, nonprofit, student-run organization dedicated to providing unmatched progressive programs, information, and resources on issues critical to architecture and the experience of education.

OUR PROJECT

One of the ways in which the AIAS realizes its missions is through national conferences held in locations across the country (and the world) throughout the year. One of these conferences is FORUM, for which the AIAS collects in one city over the winter holiday to network, hear from our sponsors, learn from other leaders, discuss issues relevant to architecture and design education, and conduct official AIAS business. All members are encouraged to attend and the location changes on a yearly basis, this year's being in Austin, Texas.

WHY CONTRIBUTE

National conferences hosted by AIAS are not only invaluable opportunities for students to expand their professional networks, but also a means to engage with other chapters and students undergoing the same experiences, and remind ourselves of the larger community we are part of, as well as the responsibilities we have as future architects.

The $2,500 project goal will be used to cover conference fees, travel expenses, and lodging for the students attending the Forum.
