SoA Faculty and PhD-AECM Candidates Selected to Present at Design Thinking Research Symposium in South Korea

Professor Emeritus Ömer Akin and PhD-AECM candidates Shalini Priyadarshini and Nizar Eldaher have been selected to present their paper entitled “The Crux of the Matter: Tacit Knowledge Based Value Added Design” at the international conference Design Thinking Research Symposium (DTRS). The event is being held at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) in South Korea from 15-16 November 2018.

Priyadarshini contributed substantially to the “tacit knowledge” section of the paper. Eldaher currently serves as an instructor at the School of Architecture teaching value added design in the graduate programs, and will travel to Ulsan to present the paper.
