The School of Architecture invites you to join us this week for the Fundamentals of Computational Design (FCD) Final Review on Tuesday 8 May at 3:00pm in MMCH 320 and 321. The exhibition of student work is on display through Friday 11 May.
This year, the FCD course collaborated with the American Composite Materials Association (ACMA) to explore the potential of composite fibers and resins in architecture. As part of this collaboration, the best FCD projects will participate in the Composites Challenge, a national competition between architecture schools (including UCLA, Pratt, SciArc, among others) investigating applications of composite materials in building design. Selected projects will be exhibited at the AIA conference in New York City this June.
