Congratulations to the Carnegie Mellon University chapter of AIAS (American Institute of Architecture Students) on winning the 2017 Can You Dip It Video Challenge hosted by the American Galvanizers Association (AGA) and AIAS.

The CMU AIAS chapter’s video earned the group $500 as the top video entry in their Quad; winners from each Quad were then invited to the finals held during the 2017 AIAS FORUM conference in Austin, Texas this past week. CMU’s video came out with a win in the national competition, earning the chapter top honors along with the $2000 grand prize and Galvanized Trophy (a traveling trophy that is passed on each year).

AGA recently announced the new competition in partnership with the national AIAS organization. The competition invited students to create a short video demonstrating their creativity, school pride, and knowledge about hot-dip galvanizing. View the winning video from CMU and the other entries through the AGA's YouTube channel.
