AIAS Students Present at CRIT Live Research Symposium

Zain Islam-Hashmi and Amy Rosen, current and past presidents of Carnegie Mellon University’s AIAS (American Institute of Architecture Students) chapter respectively, recently presented their research projects at the second annual AIAS CRIT Live fall research symposium. This was the second year of AIAS presenting the event, which is intended to provide a platform for AIAS member students to present research projects to their peers. The initiative also trains members in best practices related to funding, conducting, and presenting research.

The Northeast Quad event in which the SoA’s AIAS chapter participated took place at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and featured two professional keynotes, a research tutorial workshop and series of presentations, pecha kucha segments, panels exhibiting student research projects, and a social event hosted by the local host chapter for AIAS members.
