Adjunct professor Dr. Francesca Torello and co-presenter Caterina Cardamone will deliver a presentation entitled “Renaissance or Baroque? Architectural historiography in the pedagogy of the Technical Hochschule in Vienna, 1875–1913” on Friday, 11 January 2019 as part of an international conference being held at the Technical University of Vienna in Austria.
The conference, entitled Art History at Polytechnic Institutions, Technical Colleges, and Technical Universities takes place from 10-12 January 2019. The presentations focus on the changing role of architectural history in the pedagogy of technical disciplines in the German-speaking areas of Europe over the last two centuries.
