The 2020 Spring Lecture Series continues on Monday 24 February at 5:00pm in Kresge Theatre as we welcome Craig Dykers for his talk “Living in a Zoo of our Own Design.”
Dykers is an architect and Founding Partner of Snøhetta dedicated to promoting social and physical well-being through design. His talk will explore the connection between the designed world and the ones who design it.

CRAIG DYKERS is a Founding Partner of Snøhetta. His interest in design as a promoter of social and physical well-being is supported by ongoing observation and development of an innovative design process. Craig has led many of Snøhetta’s prominent projects internationally, including the Alexandria Library in Egypt, the Oslo Opera House in Norway, the 9/11 Memorial Museum Pavilion in New York City, the new pedestrian plaza in New York's Times Square, and the expansion of SFMOMA in San Francisco, California. Dykers’s work has led to numerous international awards and widespread recognition including the Mies van der Rohe European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture, the World Architecture Award, and the Aga Kahn Award for Architecture, among many others. His interest in design as a promoter of social and physical well-being is supported by ongoing observation and development of an innovative design process.
