Heather Bizon, 2018-19 Ann Kalla Visiting Professor, will present “Out of Nature: Everyday Mashups,” which focuses on the role of play in making room for that which is not possible in reality, allowing one to slip into roles outside oneself, to take risks without consequences, and to challenge the codes and customs of one’s society.

Brian Evans from Mackintosh School of Architecture to Lecture Mon 22 Oct
Brian Evans, Professor and Head of Urbanism at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, will reflect on his 30 years of working with European cities and landscapes in practice, academia, and public service, most recently with the UN through a series of themes including the spaces of life, cities of the mind, the "Thompson Ten," the proto-knowledge city, and the super-urbanities of the north.
