SoA's Augmented Reality App Puts Museum Visitors in Touch with Architectural History

Plaster ReCast, an augmented reality app developed by SoA professors Francesca Torello and Joshua Bard with a team of students from CMU’s Entertainment Technology Center, helps visitors learn about the Carnegie Museum of Art’s Hall of Architecture historical plaster casts.

SoA Faculty, Students Win American Architecture Prize for Restaurant Design

The Senyai Thai Kitchen project designed and executed by a team of Carnegie Mellon School of Architecture faculty and students was awarded The American Architecture Prize 2017 in the Commercial Interior design category.

Computational Design Exhibition receives Graham Foundation Award

Assistant Professor of Architecture Dr. Daniel Cardoso Llach has just been announced as the recipient of a grant from the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts. The award will support the forthcoming exhibition Designing the Computational Image + Imagining Computational Design.
