Senior Academic Advisor for Undergraduate Studies

Heather Workinger Midgley is the Senior Academic Advisor for Undergraduate Studies. In this role, she advises first- through fifth-year undergraduate students. She assists students with registration, scheduling, academic audits, degree progress, minors, transfer credits, academic actions, and study abroad and gives guidance on SoA and university resources and policies. Heather also advises the Architecture Peer Mentors (APM) Program and the Undergraduate Architecture Student Advisory Council (SAC). She serves on the CMU Study Abroad Advisory Council, the CFA Academic Advisory Council, and the SoA Safe Space Committee. 

In the fall and spring semesters Heather teaches First-Year Seminar, a course designed to support student transition into the CMU and SoA community.
