NIDA REHMAN is the Ann Kalla Visiting Professor at Carnegie Mellon University and a PhD candidate at the Department of Geography at the University of Cambridge, where she is a member of the Rethinking Urban Nature group. Her interdisciplinary research examines the ecological, political and cultural dimensions of cities and architecture, particularly in South Asia. Her current work focuses on the intersections of urban space, vector-borne diseases and public health, and how efforts to make

mosquitoes knowable and killable reshape urban life. Nida has a Masters of Science in Architecture and Urban Studies from MIT and a professional degree in Architecture from Cornell University.
