NORDIC AESTHETICS AND RESEARCH-BASED DESIGN This talk will present Henning Larsen’s design approach and methodology, and how the combination of quantitative research, artistic emphasis, and social responsibility defines their work. Louis has been instrumental in crafting Henning Larsen’s approach to design, blending an imperative on Nordic aesthetics and wellbeing with applied research in sustainability and behavioral science. Rooted in Danish modernism, the firm has evolved a belief that architecture must encompass more than design – today, architects must orchestrate a collaboration between researchers, artists, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to be critical.
